Half way!!
I am 20 weeks pregnant as of yesterday, can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going. We have our 20 week scan this Monday, can't wait for all that anxiety to be over with. She's getting big in there, yesterday she was sticking her foot out so much that we could feel it. Most days she's still pretty chilled out in there, but every once in a while she seems to be doing a gymnastics routine. :)

Happy Love day!!!
Just wanted to pop in and wish you all a Happy Valentines day! I hope your day is full of love! My boys and I spent a good part of the day making sugar cookies. You know those amazing soft cake like sugar cookies you get in your local bakery? Well, I found an amazing recipe for them, I have been wanting to try them for a few months and I am so glad we made them today. They. are. amazing.

Heart Valentine banner DIY.
Happy Monday everyone, hope you're having a lovely day. I have a quick heart banner to share with you today.
Supplies needed:
I used felt however paper would work as well.
bakers string or really any string or yarn you like.
needle, scissors and a heart pattern.
Step 1. Either draw or print a heart pattern so all your hearts are equal sizes. I would share my pattern, but the computer I have it on is packed up due to our new flooring being installed still.
Step 2. Cut out hearts. I used 16 hearts for my banner.
Step 3. I organized the hearts in a color pattern I was happy with and starting stringing them. I choose a random pattern by flipping them different directions.
It's a really easy and quick DIY. Hope you enjoy it.

Peak into our mess.
We are finally having our new flooring installed in our home this week, so far one bathroom is done as well as our living room and dinning room. Both our bathrooms will have the hexagon b&w tiles, and the rest of the home will be the wood. It's been pretty stressful having new flooring installed in our entire home over a few days. Luckily it'll be done tomorrow evening and then we get to start putting our home back together. I am so excited to have this almost done, while we did unpack everything upon moving in two months ago, we never really decorated yet to really made it our home. I am looking forward to the flooring project being behind us so we can move on to other plans we have. It's about time!
